Nolifrit Anti-Fish-Scale RTU Powder Breaks Through 6mm Hot-Rolled Steel Testing

Recently,Nolifrit successfully developed a new generation of Anti-Fish Scale RTU powder to address the frequent porcelain fish scake issue in the enameling process of 6mm hot-rolled steel plates. After firing at 860°C, the product didnt show any scaling or explosion for more than 30days.It demonstrating excellent anti-fish scale performance and providing an efficient solution for scenarios involving thick plate enameling, such as assembled tanks and water storage tanks.

A customer recently took on a large assembled tank project requiring enameling on 6mm hot-rolled steel plates. However, due to the high thickness and complex internal stresses of the hot-rolled plates, traditional enameling processes easily lead to porcelain scaling (layer peeling), resulting in a product yield of less than 30%. The customer specifically contacted us for a solution, and Nolifrit's R&D team adjusted the glaze formulation and conducted multiple experiments, ultimately developing a new generation of Anti-Acid RTU powder.

To validate the product's performance, Nolifrit initiated three comparative experiments on July 31, testing different solutions under identical firing conditions (860°C for 15 minutes):

Control Group 1 (Standard Glaze): By the next day (August 1), dense scaling points appeared, rendering the anti-scale performance completely ineffective.

Control Group 2 (Cold-Rolled Plate Anti-Explosion Solution): Within 7 days, 10 scaling points emerged, providing only limited protection suitable for thin plates.

Experimental Group (Nolifrit Anti-Acid RTU Powder): By day 30 of the test, the porcelain surface remained smooth and defect-free, with no scaling points, achieving 100% anti-scale performance.

Currently, this product solution has passed batch verification at the client's site and is being used in the production line for 8-meter diameter assembled tanks. According to customer feedback, after using Nolifrit's Anti-Acid RTU powder:

The first-pass qualification rate increased from 38% to 98%.

Rework and repair costs decreased by 22%.

The production cycle per tank was shortened by 5-7 days.

The customer’s technical manager stated, “Nolifrit's solution not only resolved the porcelain fish scale issue but also enhanced the tank's corrosion resistance, providing crucial support for overseas project delivery.”
